We are currently supporting a specialist technology organisation with the appointment of an experienced Software Engineer.
This is a genuinely technical engineering position, working on complex software and data-processing challenges within a highly specialist environment.
If you are an experienced C/C++ developer who enjoys solving difficult problems, working across disciplines and getting involved in the underlying technical detail, this could be an excellent opportunity.
The role
You will be involved in:
- Developing software for security-focused applications
- Developing signal, image and data processing applications using C/C++
- Working across technically complex software development projects
- Supporting customers with deployed solutions
- Providing technical support and training
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers
About you
We're looking for an experienced software engineer with:
- Experience working on technically complex software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An interest in working across both software and wider engineering challenges
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers would be advantageous
