Founding engineer wanted for an early-stage cybersecurity start-up building technology with real-world impact. The company is at an exciting stage of growth, having recently secured significant investment and is looking to add to their already highly-technical team. This is a great opportunity to join a team as the company begins to scale, as well as have significant influence on the direction of the product. You’ll be working closely with the founders, taking ownership of complex problems from their design all the way through to production.
About you:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in C#, Python, Go or Java
- The ability to work independently and experience owning project from its architecture through to delivery
- Excellent problem-solving ability and a collaborative approach
- Bonus: Experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure
What you’ll do:
- Designing and developing systems for a security focussed, cloud native product
- Solving complex engineering problems where reliability, scalability and security are paramount
- Building across the stack, with a focus on backend
- Working closely with the founders to control the technical decisions and the company direction
