Lead DevOps Engineer – Climate Tech – London / Cambridge

Lead DevOps at a fast-growing climate-tech company shaping the future of energy planning. You’ll own AWS platform automation, containerisation, CI/CD, data migrations, developer experience, and reliability – working directly with the CTO to modernise and scale the entire platform.

What you’ll lead

• Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation
• Containerised deployments with ECS + Fargate
• CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions)
• PostgreSQL & DynamoDB migrations
• Monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Local dev tooling + smoother developer workflows

What you bring

• 3+ years DevOps/Infra experience
• Deep AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
• Strong IaC (CloudFormation), Docker, CI/CD
• Experience with large data migrations (PostgreSQL/DynamoDB)
• Strong scripting + automation skills

Nice to have: Terraform, Kubernetes, geospatial data, SRE experience, DataDog/Grafana, FinOps.
