The Role
As a Senior Python Engineer, you’ll be a key part of a small, high-performing team building scalable backend systems and data-driven products. You’ll shape architecture decisions, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful features at speed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building reliable, high-performance services in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
- Leading architecture discussions and mentoring junior engineers
- Collaborating with product, data, and design teams to bring ideas to life
- Building scalable systems in the cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Driving quality through automation, testing, and CI/CD
About You
- 5+ years of hands-on Python engineering experience
- Strong grasp of backend development, APIs, and distributed systems
- Proven experience in fast-moving or high-growth startup environments
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
- A problem-solver who thrives on autonomy and ownership
