Senior Software Engineer – C++ / Audio / Windows
Location: Hybrid or On-site
Industry: Audio Technology / Professional Sound Systems
Are you an experienced C++ developer with a strong background in Windows audio systems? Are you passionate about building high-performance software for world-class audio products?
We’re partnering with a leading audio technology company known for developing innovative solutions used by professionals in music, broadcast, and post-production. As their external recruitment partner, we’re helping them identify a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen their R&D team.
The Role
You\’ll be contributing to the design and development of real-time audio applications on Windows, working closely with engineers and DSP specialists to deliver tools that meet the highest industry standards. This is a key technical role with room for leadership, architectural input, and end-to-end development responsibility.
Key Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20)
- Deep experience working with Windows audio APIs (WASAPI, ASIO, Core Audio, etc.)
- Solid understanding of real-time, multithreaded systems
- Experience debugging performance-critical applications on Windows
- Familiarity with audio plugin formats (VST, AU) or similar frameworks is beneficial
Nice to Have
- Experience with JUCE or similar C++ audio frameworks
- Background in DSP or audio algorithm development
- An interest in music production, audio engineering, or sound design
