Senior Python Engineer — Fully Remote | High Ownership | Modern Backend Systems

I’m hiring for a Senior Python Engineer who wants meaningful ownership, technical depth, and the freedom to work from anywhere. About the Role

You’ll join a high-performing engineering team building modern backend and AI-driven products used at scale. This isn’t maintenance work—you’ll architect systems, drive technical decisions, and ship features that shape the direction of the platform.

What You’ll Work On

• Designing and developing robust backend services in Python
• Building APIs, distributed systems, or data/ML-powered features
• Improving performance, reliability, and scalability across core systems
• Leading design discussions and influencing long-term architecture
• Collaborating with a sharp, senior team in a low-ego, high-impact environment

What We’re Looking For

• 6–12+ years of professional Python engineering experience
• Strong background in backend systems, microservices, or distributed architectures
• Experience with modern frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask, etc.)
• Ability to own complex projects from design → delivery
• Pragmatic engineering mindset—clear communicator, thoughtful problem solver
• Someone who thrives in autonomy and values remote flexibility

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Experience with AI/ML, data engineering, or automation
• Open-source contributions or a track record of technical leadership
