We are scaling up the business and are building out the team for rapid growth. We are looking for an International Payroll Specialist to join our team in London. You will be responsible for managing payroll across Ohme & Temporis Group in all markets, which currently include the UK and Ireland, mainland Europe, and Australia. You will also take ownership of HR duties for Ohme’s European operations. As Ohme continues to grow, this could expand into further markets, and we would like you to help grow the function and its capabilities. This role reports to the Head of HR.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing across all international geographies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery each month, including audit, reconciliation, and statutory contributions.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll providers across all jurisdictions, acting as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits queries from employees and internal teams.
  • Lead the launch of payroll in new markets, managing the process end to end as Ohme continues to expand.
  • Support HR administration for European operations, including managing employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee records on the HRIS, and managing payroll related benefits.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to provide guidance and support, including during annual audits, annual payroll reporting and proactively recommend improvements to our processes and systems.

Who You Are

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to complex, multi-jurisdiction payroll.
  • You take ownership of payroll inputs - proactively sourcing, following up, verifying, and processing information with minimal supervision, ensuring payroll is accurate and completed on time.
  • A clear and confident communicator, comfortable liaising with external providers, employees, and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive and eager to expand your knowledge and suggest improvements to processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment where priorities can shift.

Required Experience

  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation; knowledge of Irish payroll and European payroll regulations is a significant advantage.
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party payroll providers.
  • Familiarity with HR administration processes and systems.
  • Payroll qualification desirable (e.g. CIPP or equivalent); accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT or equivalent) also desirable.
