Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy.

We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market.

The worlds of energy, transport and artificial intelligence are colliding and Ohme is at the heart of this new era.

By using technology and data integrations to connect cars, chargers, people, energy providers and more, Ohme has a powerful platform that puts the consumer at the core.

We are scaling up the business and are building out the team for rapid growth.

If you’re interested joining a fast-growing cleantech venture on a data and AI-first journey to speed up the global transition to clean, affordable energy, read on!

We’re looking for a Director of Product to own the vision, strategy and global delivery of everything we build at Ohme.

Reporting to the CEO and joining the senior leadership team, you’ll take our products into new markets and put AI at the heart of what we do.

Our products cover the whole charging journey: our own hardware and firmware, mobile and web apps, and a cloud and AI platform that ties it all together.

From finding a customer to installing a charger, smart charging and grid flexibility, you’ll shape how it all fits together.

  • What you’ll do
  • Fuel our customer obsession.

Work closely with commercial, customer support and operations teams to turn customer needs into clear priorities and bring valuable products and features to market.

  • Build once, scale everywhere. Drive international expansion through a scalable product platform that adapts to each market’s regulations, energy grid and partners.
  • Lead product from silicon to cloud.

Bring chargers, firmware, software and backend together in one coherent roadmap, managing dependencies and trade-offs across the full customer experience.

  • Develop a great product and design team.

Empower our product managers and designers, ground decisions in evidence, and partner with our AI team to accelerate delivery of products that help our customers.

  • Own product performance. Define what success looks like and use customer insight and data to improve adoption, customer satisfaction and commercial results.
  • What you’ll bring
  • Product Leadership. You’ve taken connected consumer devices to market and know the physical product and the software must feel like one.
  • Scaled internationally. You’ve led expansion first-hand, choosing how to enter a new country, and deciding what to build, localise and sequence when resources are tight.
  • An AI-obsessed technologist. You use it daily in how you work and build, and you’d rather ship products than manage roadmaps.
  • Long term vision that’s compatible with the scale-up life. You thrive in founder mode, handle ambiguity and pace with ease, and add structure without slowing things down.
  • A steady leader.

You stay calm under pressure, have the experience to back your judgement, and can build a candid, trusting partnership with a CEO who moves fast and cares deeply about the product.

You’ll get to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing scale-up with global ambitions that is cutting edge, passionate about sustainability and seeks to make the world a better place.

  • Competitive salary and bonus
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Life Assurance Scheme with death in service benefit of 4x salary
  • Income Protection Scheme for long term illness
  • Ride to Work Scheme
  • Payroll Giving Scheme
  • Season Ticket Loan to spread cost of travel over 12 months
  • Eye Test every 2 years
