We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within our ASD Centre.
Duration: Spring 2 and most of Summer 1
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
Role Overview: The successful candidate will support pupils within our ASD Centre, working closely with the class teacher and wider team to provide high-quality, structured, and nurturing support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD
- Support learning, communication, and social development
- Assist with implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children with ASD (preferred but not essential)
- Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to inclusive practice
- Be able to follow structured routines and behaviour support plans
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and making a meaningful difference within our ASD provision.
