The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seeks a full‑time Board Certified/Eligible Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgeon.
Academic rank and track will be commensurate with record and experience.
Position Overview
The Department seeks an exceptional microsurgeon to join its Orthoplastic and Limb Restoration team.
The role focuses on advancing complex extremity and orthoplastic reconstruction, collaborating with multidisciplinary partners, and contributing to program development, clinical innovation, and growth of orthoplastic services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high‑quality patient care.
- Deliver clinical and didactic education to learners of all levels.
- Adhere to departmental duties and guidelines as assigned by the Chair.
Requirements
- MD or DO.
- Successful completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery.
- Successful completion of a Microsurgery Fellowship or equivalent experience.
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
Compensation Package
- Salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus and relocation assistance.
- Retirement benefits: 14% employer match, supplemental 403(b) and 457(b) accounts.
- Paid time off: 176 hours annual vacation, 120 hours annual sick time, 11 recognized holidays, plus CME allowance.
