Client Service Advisor – Leicester

What the day will look like
In this wide and varied role, you\’ll be joining a client service team and will be responsible for a number of key tasks including:
- Negotiating your clients\’ renewal terms, Mid Term adjustments and cover extensions, all with support from your Client Manager and Client Service Manager
- Preparation of comprehensive marketing presentations and renewal reports for your Client Manager to present to the client
- Working with the Placement Brokers to prepare full cover comparisons as required.
- Communicate terms of settlement to Clients, ensuring premiums are debited (and allocated appropriately where necessary) and assist with maintenance of credit control standards.
- Contribute to the formulation of the Service Plan, Reports, Presentations and any other client documents etc. as required including visits to Clients working alongside your Client Manager and supported by your Client Service Manager.
- Actively engaging and supporting the wider client service team
- Liaise with colleagues in the Client Service team to fully understand your Clients business and insurance requirements.
How this opportunity is different
Reporting directly to the Client Service manager, this is a rare opportunity to join an experienced, supportive team of insurance professionals based in Leicester, covering the East Midlands and South East England as a Client Service Advisor. The team looks after larger UK risks with some multinational clients across all business sectors.
Our clients require support and access to an approachable and knowledgeable Aon team that will manage for them a commercial product portfolio beyond the core UK classes of Property, Liability and Fleet. In this exciting role, you will be dealing with a variety of other risks including Cyber, Professional Indemnity, D&O and many more, all under the direct guidance and supervision of an experienced Client Manager. Additionally, you\’ll be able to network across the whole of Aon as we continue to enhance our Aon United proposition.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- UK Commercial Insurance knowledge and experience gained across the core classes of Property, Liability and Fleet as a minimum
- Global programme experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Collaborative, team-playing approach
- Ability to accommodate a steep learning curve underpinned by a thirst for knowledge
- Client focused approach with a desire to provide the highest possible levels of service at all times
- IT savvy with proven Excel skills
