I’m looking for a proper assistant manager to help run a busy independent pub with regular live music. This is not a trainee role and not suitable for students.

Responsibilities

  • Running shifts on your own
  • Enforcing standards with staff and customers
  • Handling refusals and conflict calmly
  • Being first point of contact for day-to-day issues
  • Dealing with bands on music nights (timings, logistics, saying no when needed)

Qualifications

  • Solid pub/bar management experience
  • Experience working in venues with live music or events
  • Backbone, common sense, and reliability
