Your New Team & Role: The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company to one of Northern Irelands long established Electrical Contractors with over 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland & UK.

OHanlon & Farrell have an exciting opportunity for an SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATORin a permanent, full-time position based in Newry.

Not only will you manage all aspects of the tendering process but will additionally focus on growing the companys client base, therefore playing a key role within the team with potential career progression opportunities.

Accurately prepare and submit compliant tenders, using our estimating templates/software within clients required deadlines.

Work as a team to proactively maintain and develop a strong network of contacts within the target commercial customer base and promote the companys capability with them to secure appropriate opportunities.

Handover secured projects effectively to the Contracts team (Contract Managers/ Procurement etc) with detailed budget and target GP margins.

What youll Need (Experience): At least 5 years experience as Electrical Estimator/QS within the Construction environment A good level of secondary education demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy Have a technical knowledge of electrical installations ranging from domestic to large commercial / industrial Understand and analyse electrical drawings to establish the correct cost for various electrical projects Previously involved in of establishing and developing effective long term customer relationships.
