The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company as one of Northern Ireland's long established Electrical Contractors with over 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland and the UK. We are recruiting for 3rd & 4th Year Electrical Apprentices. In addition to recruiting our Annual First Year Apprenticeship intake, we are also seeking Current Apprentices seeking a new challenge.
Location: Greater Dublin Area with Transport Provided from certain Locations in South Down/South Armagh
Role Overview: As an Electrical Apprentice with OHanlon and Farrell, you will work with our skilled team of Electricians where you will have on the job training, maintain and operate electrical systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who is looking for a career as a certified Electrician.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Electricians on various tasks
- Complete your detailed Apprenticeship Training Programme
- Be part of our dynamic team carrying out the complete Electrical Installations to Industrial, Commercial & Domestic projects
- Work as a team to achieve 1st fix installation through to 2nd fix, commissioning, final Project handover & defects procedures.
- Work under supervision in conjunction with Client, Main Contractors, 3rd party Sub-Contractors and appointed specialists throughout the process

Requirements:
- Grade C or above in English & Maths at GCSE Level (Higher and Further education desirable)
- Driving Licence or Working towards Obtaining
- Good timekeeping and attendance record
- Work Experience (either paid or voluntary) is desirable but not essential
