The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and growing Private Client team based in Basildon.

The role will focus on non-contentious Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate and Trusts, within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while working closely with colleagues across the wider team to deliver a high standard of legal and client service.

Role Responsibilities

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of non-contentious Private Client matters.
  • Advise clients on Wills, Probate, Trusts, LPAs and estate administration matters.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documentation.
  • Handle matters from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Maintain compliance with Law Society, SRA and internal practice management requirements.
  • Provide a high standard of client care and communication throughout matters.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team.

  • Wills drafting
  • Probate and estate administration

Requirements

To be considered for this Private Client Solicitor role, you will have:

  • Ideally 5+ years Post Qualification Experience as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Strong experience within non-contentious Private Client law.
  • Experience managing your own caseload independently.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • Professionalism and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative and team-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of SRA compliance and regulatory requirements.
