Its Construction team is experiencing sustained growth and advises clients across a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Solicitor to join an ambitious and expanding Construction team. The successful candidate will become a key member of a growing specialist department, handling a broad range of high-quality construction matters whilst helping shape the future growth and development of the practice.
The firm is open to candidates with experience across both contentious and non-contentious construction work. Equally, applications are welcomed from strong contentious construction specialists looking to broaden their exposure over time. As a Construction Solicitor, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
- Advise developers, contractors, consultants, employers and other commercial clients.
- Draft, negotiate and advise on construction contracts and associated documentation.
- Handle construction disputes from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Provide commercially focused legal advice to clients across a range of sectors.
- Contribute to business development, networking and departmental growth.
- Maintain excellent compliance, file management and client care standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Commercial team.
5+ years' PQE or above within Construction Law. Experience in contentious construction matters. Exposure to non-contentious construction work would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong commercial awareness.
