This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join a growing Residential Property team based in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will manage their own residential conveyancing caseload while playing an active role in business development, team collaboration and maintaining high professional standards throughout the department. Role Responsibilities:
As a Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer, you will:
- Manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Advise clients on a range of residential property matters.
- Provide clear and practical legal guidance throughout transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local agents and professional contacts.
- Support the continued growth of the Chelmsford office and Residential Property team.
- Maintain high standards across legal reporting and documentation.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements, including SRA and CQS standards.
- Support internal audits and best practice procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including remote solicitors within the wider team.

- Freehold sales and purchases
- Leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build transactions

Requirements:
To be considered for this Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer role, you will have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer in England and Wales.
- Ideally 5+ years PQE within Residential Property.
- Strong experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong client relationship and business development ability.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks, including SRA and CQS standards.
