Health & Safety Manager
Location: Midlands & Tewkesbury (dual-site role)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + excellent benefits
Hours: Full time, 39 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
We are working with an industry-leading Manufacturing organisation who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join them in a brand-new position. This stand‑alone role will take full ownership of Health & Safety across two key manufacturing sites: one specialising in PCB Manufacturing and the other in Precision Machinery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive professional who can drive safe working practices, ensure full legislative compliance, and influence a positive safety culture at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Health & Safety across two manufacturing sites
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK Health & Safety legislation
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections
- Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and training
- Work closely with the Managing Director and site managers to maintain best practice
- Promote a proactive safety culture across both environments
About You
- Strong experience working within a manufacturing Health & Safety role (non-food manufacturing preferred)
- Confident operating in a stand‑alone H&S position
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Willingness to travel between the Midlands and Tewkesbury sites, depending on business needs
