We are looking for a Sustainability and Compliance Executive to support the management of sustainability, product compliance and regulatory requirements across Oh Polly and Bo+Tee. You will work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Buying, E-Commerce and suppliers to ensure our products, packaging and business practices meet UK, EU, US and global requirements. This is a varied role covering product compliance, sustainability, supplier requirements and e-commerce legislation, with responsibility for keeping data and documentation accurate, up to date and audit-ready.
Key responsibilities
- Support product compliance and sustainability requirements across UK, EU, US and global markets.
- Manage supplier onboarding and annual compliance audits.
- Coordinate key regulatory submissions including Modern Slavery, Gender Pay Gap, EPR, PPWR, SECR, TCFD and ESOS.
- Ensure product safety, testing, risk assessments and labelling requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate product data including fibre composition, material traceability, country of origin and supplier certifications.
- Support EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements.
- Manage packaging compliance, including packaging weights, materials and supplier data.
- Maintain QR codes and multilingual care label requirements.
- Support sustainability legislation including CSRD, WFD, Green Claims, Animal Welfare and California SB 707.
- Manage US compliance requirements including CPSC E-Filing, flammability testing, CMRD and PFA requirements.
- Support e-commerce compliance across Rental, Pre-Loved and Take-Back schemes.
- Keep up to date with changing legislation and ensure the business is prepared for upcoming requirements.
Candidate qualifications
- Experience in compliance, sustainability, product compliance or a similar role, ideally within fashion or retail.
- Good understanding of UK, EU and US regulations.
- Experience working with factories, suppliers and supply chain teams.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple deadlines and regulatory submissions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and chasing information where required.
- Commercially aware with an interest in the changing sustainability and compliance landscape.
- Experience using compliance systems or databases such as Airtable is desirable.
