The Project Manager will work within the tech team, collaborating with Operations, Merchandising, eCommerce, Finance and CX to deliver key projects including ERP implementation, PIM onboarding, WMS integration, eCommerce initiatives and other cross‑functional projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst and project teams to define scope and create the business case/benefits.
- Manage partner selection processes.
- Escalate and update project direction & scope based on urgency.
- Develop and control project budgets in conjunction with partners.
- Implement appropriate project management methodologies within the team.
- Create robust project plans.
- Define and enforce good project management practices.
- Foster an agile and responsive culture.
- Compile and maintain high‑quality documentation.
- Use commercial acumen for significant capex and opex management.
- Manage senior stakeholders within Oh Polly and external suppliers.
- Continuously raise standards through experimentation and adoption of new tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Programme Manager, Project Manager or Project Lead on technical projects involving internal stakeholders and third‑party suppliers, preferably in retail.
- Strong understanding of retail data and multi‑party set‑ups.
- Knowledge of operations and project management processes.
- Passion for delivering high‑quality projects that solve real business problems.
- Experience delivering projects across multiple retail departments.
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong influencing skills and effective stakeholder management.
- Adaptability to take on tasks outside a narrowly defined role, including testing, support, operations and documentation.
- Capability to work on both tactical and strategic timescales, prioritising effectively.
- Confidence in managing large‑scale change programmes at pace.
- Experience with PIM, WMS, ERP or eCommerce projects is a plus.
