OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor - Clinical Governance Lead to join an established in-house Occupational Health service.

Duties

  • Provide professional and clinical leadership to the Occupational Health Nursing team
  • Lead clinical governance processes, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice
  • Support the delivery of health surveillance and statutory monitoring programmes
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery
  • Oversee service performance, demand and capacity management
  • Lead health promotion, wellbeing and risk management initiatives
  • Support SEQOHS compliance, audit and assurance processes
  • Hold a proportionate clinical caseload and contribute to nurse-led clinics
  • Provide line management, supervision and professional support to nursing staff
  • Criteria
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
  • Recognised Occupational Health Nursing qualification
  • Extensive post-qualification Occupational Health experience
  • Previous leadership or management experience within Occupational Health
  • Experience developing clinical governance frameworks and improving service delivery
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation within an occupational setting
  • Experience within complex or public sector Occupational Health environments
