Ready to turn science into real-life impact? At OH Medical, we’re working with a leading Occupational Health provider to find a passionate Wellbeing Physiologist to join their onsite team in Whitley. This is one of those roles where your knowledge doesn’t sit in a textbook… it gets people moving, thinking differently, and genuinely improving their health day to day.
What you’ll be doing as a Wellbeing Physiologist:
- Conducting lifestyle and clinical wellbeing assessments
- Delivering 1:1 and group-based health interventions
- Providing evidence‑based advice on areas like nutrition, exercise, and behavioural change
- Supporting individuals managing lifestyle‑related and chronic conditions
- Creating and reviewing tailored action plans that actually stick
- Running engaging health promotion initiatives and exercise sessions
- Using specialist equipment to carry out physiological testing and data analysis
- Interpreting results and identifying when to elevate to GP or OH professionals
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment to ensure clinical accuracy

What we’re looking for in a Wellbeing Physiologist:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology or similar
- Experience in a health, fitness, medical or wellbeing setting
- Strong understanding of human physiology, nutrition, biomechanics or psychology
- Confidence in delivering health assessments and interventions
- Knowledge of workplace wellbeing strategies
- A proactive, engaging communicator who can build trust quickly
