OH Medical is recruiting an Occupational Health Advisor on behalf of a leading UK Occupational Health provider, supporting a prestigious automotive client based on site in Swindon. This Occupational Health Advisor role is ideal for an experienced OHA looking for a permanent, part-time position with the flexibility to increase hours over time. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a full Occupational Health remit, supporting both employee wellbeing and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a full Occupational Health Advisor remit on site
- Conducting health surveillance, pre-employment and fitness-for-work assessments
- Providing evidence-based Occupational Health advice and case management
- Managing referrals with a high level of clinical quality and attention to detail
- Identifying workplace health risks and recommending practical controls
- Promoting a proactive approach to health, wellbeing and prevention
- Supporting both physical and mental wellbeing across the workforce
About You
To be successful as an Occupational Health Advisor, you will have:
- A recognised Occupational Health qualification (essential)
- Registration as a Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
- Confidence managing your own Occupational Health Advisor caseload
- A proactive, professional and approachable manner
- Strong communication and organisational skills
