OH Medical is recruiting for an Occupational Health Technician to join a leading Occupational Health provider based onsite in Rosyth, Fife (KY11). As an Occupational Health Technician, you will carry out a range of health surveillance and screening activities, supporting the delivery of high-quality Occupational Health services across a busy client site. This full-time Occupational Health Technician role offers a Monday to Thursday working pattern, a salary of up to £26,000, and an excellent benefits package.

Duties

• Deliver health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, blood pressure, height, weight and urinalysis.

• Carry out workplace drug and alcohol testing in accordance with chain of custody procedures.

• Maintain accurate Occupational Health records and ensure all screening results are recorded correctly.

• Ensure Occupational Health equipment is clean, calibrated and ready for use.

• Support workplace health promotion and employee wellbeing initiatives.

• Assist with non-clinical administrative duties to support the Occupational Health service.

• Provide a professional and flexible Occupational Health Technician service in line with business needs.

Criteria

• Previous experience in a healthcare, fitness or emergency response environment.

• A background as a Healthcare Assistant, Fitness Instructor, Ambulance EMT, Military Medic, Offshore Medic or a similar role.

• Previous Occupational Health Technician experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• The ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team.

• A proactive, flexible and professional approach to delivering Occupational Health services.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £26,000 FTE depending on experience.
