Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Inchinnan (Hybrid, 1 day onsite and 4 days home-based)
Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm
OH Medical is recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider in a hybrid role based in Inchinnan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver a full Occupational Health service, including case management, health surveillance, fitness for work assessments and clinical advice. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with just one day per week onsite and the remainder working from home.
OHA Duties
- Deliver evidence-based case management and fitness for work assessments
- Produce high-quality Occupational Health reports and recommendations
- Provide expert Occupational Health advice to managers and employees
- Undertake health surveillance, fitness medicals and statutory health assessments
- Carry out spirometry, audiometry and general medical examinations
- Evaluate clinical findings and provide appropriate fitness recommendationsMaintain accurate clinical records in line with NMC standards and GDPR requirements
- Support clients with legislative compliance and Occupational Health best practice
Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC Part 1)
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
- Experience delivering Occupational Health case management
- Competent in spirometry, audiometry, general medicals and fitness for work assessments
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Good understanding of Occupational Health legislation, confidentiality and data protection
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Confident using IT systems and electronic Occupational Health records
