OH Medical is currently recruiting for a Wellbeing Physiologist to join a leading Occupational Health provider on a 12-month fixed‑term contract based in Warton, Preston. This is an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Physiologist looking to combine workplace wellbeing, health promotion and employee health screening within a national Occupational Health team. This site‑based role requires occasional UK‑wide travel delivering wellbeing initiatives, health assessments and workplace wellness programmes across client sites. The Wellbeing Physiologist Role

As a Wellbeing Physiologist, you will deliver a wide range of workplace wellbeing services and health screening assessments both at the client site in Warton, Preston and across multiple client locations throughout the UK. This role will involve both onsite health promotion and employee wellbeing support, helping individuals make positive and sustainable lifestyle changes.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering workplace health screening assessments across client sites
  • Supporting health promotion campaigns and wellbeing roadshows
  • Providing evidence‑based lifestyle advice tailored to individual health profiles
  • Supporting employees with behaviour change and wellbeing goals
  • Creating personalised wellbeing action plans
  • Carrying out clinical testing using specialist equipment
  • Recording and analysing clinical data accurately
  • Escalating clinical concerns appropriately to GPs or Occupational Health practitioners
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment in line with company procedures
  • Supporting employees living with lifestyle‑related health conditions
  • Delivering a positive and professional employee wellbeing experience

Wellbeing Physiologist Role Requirements

  • A degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Health Science, Sports Therapy or a related subject
  • Experience within wellbeing, fitness, healthcare, Occupational Health or health promotion environments
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition or behavioural change
  • Experience delivering health assessments or wellbeing screening
  • Strong communication and motivational coaching skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to workplace wellbeing
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Salary & Benefits

  • £28,000 to £32,000 per annum depending on experience
