Overview

OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the onsite team of a leading Occupational Health Provider in a Part time Permanent position. This role will see you based in Bridgewater as part of a multidisciplinary team, working 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments whilst maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
  • Classify musculoskeletal disorders into work-related categories.
  • Provide reports to Management following assessment and discharge indicating employee’s fitness to work and advising on short-, long-term, and permanent adjustment requirements.
  • Deliver onsite exercise classes for employee MSK injury rehabilitation.
  • Collect statistics to report on and contribute to health promotion events.
  • Communicate with the wider OH team providing information regarding any work practice or environment changes required on both short and long-term basis.
  • Conduct DSE assessments, and provide any necessary advice on changes/equipment required.
  • Identify hazards within the workplace and assess the risk of the identified hazards causing or aggravating an individual’s MSK ill health.
  • Work with HSE Advisors to conduct ergonomic risk assessments to identify risks to employees within a specified area.
  • Provide effective rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, including those not work-related.
  • Conduct and contribute to Health Promotion events.

Skills Required

  • HCPC Registered Physio
  • CSP Registered Physio
  • Experience in OH setting preferred
  • MSK and Ergonomic experience and knowledge
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet service demands
  • Strong IT Literacy
