OH Medical is working in partnership with a well-established Occupational Health provider to recruit an MFOM-qualified Occupational Health Physician to support clients across the Midlands. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model, manageable caseloads, and a strong focus on quality over quantity. The service prides itself on delivering high-quality clinical outcomes while supporting a positive work–life balance for its clinicians.
The Role
As an Occupational Health Physician, you will play a key role in delivering chargeable Occupational Health services while maintaining the highest professional standards and supporting ongoing clinical governance and SEQOHS accreditation. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Health Physicians, Nurses, Advisors and Technicians in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a varied OH caseload, including management referrals and fitness-for-work assessments
- Carry out specialist medicals including HSE Appointed Doctor, OEUK, pension assessments and Tier 4 HAVS
- Provide high-quality clinical advice to clients on health and wellbeing matters
- Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance activities
- Support clinical governance, GDPR compliance and professional standards
- Contribute to service development, clinical supervision and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records
Caseloads are carefully managed, with no more than six case management assessments per day, ensuring quality delivery and clinician wellbeing.
About You
- MFOM qualified – essential
- Diploma in Occupational Medicine
- GMC registered with a licence to practise
- Strong understanding of work‑related health and wellbeing.
- Confident working independently and as part of a wider clinical team
- IT literate, with experience using clinical systems (eOPAS desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required
