Occupational Health Nurse (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Heathrow & Hatfield (travel required between both sites)
Salary: Circa £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: 6-Month FTC (potential to extend or become permanent)

The Role
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you’ll deliver a proactive and professional Occupational Health service across our Heathrow and Hatfield sites.
Your focus will be on promoting colleague health and wellbeing through health surveillance, screening, and wellbeing initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in case management and maintaining accurate, audit‑ready data using a new OH system.
This is a hands‑on, varied role that offers exposure to both manufacturing and logistics environments — ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver health surveillance and screening (including audiometry and spirometry).
- Support colleague wellbeing and health promotion initiatives.
- Contribute to case management and return‑to‑work processes.
- Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and reports.
- Use OH systems to track data and produce reports.
- Travel regularly between Heathrow and Hatfield sites, including occasional night shifts to support 24/7 operations.
About You
We’re looking for a confident and professional Registered Nurse (NMC‑registered) who can hit the ground running in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
Essential requirements:
- Current NMC registration and revalidation.
- Proven experience in health surveillance (industrial, logistics, or manufacturing setting).
- Competence in audiometry and spirometry.
- Strong documentation and administrative accuracy.
- Confident IT user, ideally familiar with clinical systems such as ORCHID.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Willingness to work occasional night shifts.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable experience:
- Occupational Health qualification (Diploma or equivalent).
- Case management and RTW experience.
- OH experience within food manufacturing or similar environments.
- Experience delivering wellbeing campaigns or health promotion.Ability to analyse and report OH data.
