OH Medical is recruiting an Occupational Health Manager for a leading UK Occupational Health provider, supporting a prestigious client in the automotive manufacturing sector. This role is predominantly management focused and would suit an experienced Occupational Health professional looking to step into a senior leadership position. As the Occupational Health Manager, you will have full responsibility for the performance, quality and delivery of an on-site Occupational Health service.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing an on-site, multi-disciplinary Occupational Health team
- Providing clinical leadership, supervision and line management
- Overseeing complex health surveillance programmes and Occupational Health service delivery
- Managing KPIs, service performance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring Occupational Health services meet clinical governance, legal and evidence-based standards
- Acting as the senior Occupational Health Manager contact for client stakeholders
- Delivering ad hoc case management and expert clinical input for complex cases
- Undertaking quarterly and ad hoc site visits across Wiltshire, Hampshire and the West Midlands (expenses reimbursed)
About You
To succeed as an Occupational Health Manager, you will have:
- Proven experience in an Occupational Health Manager or senior Occupational Health leadership role
- A recognised clinical qualification as a Nurse, registered with NMC
- Extensive experience delivering Occupational Health services as an Occupational Health Advisor or similar
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams
- Strong data literacy, using insight to drive Occupational Health service improvement
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
