Job Description
OH Medical is currently seeking a Senior Occupational Health Advisoron behalf of our client, a leading organisation within the food manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OH professional to step into a leadership role, managing a team of six OH Advisors across multiple locations.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing, the Senior OHA will oversee the effective delivery of a high-quality OH service. This role involves leading projects, developing occupational health strategies, and working closely with a Wellbeing Business Partner to implement initiatives that promote employee health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Occupational Health Strategy: Develop and implement OH strategies that align with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage, support, and guide a team of OH Advisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Health & Wellbeing Initiatives: Drive proactive programmes to improve attendance, wellbeing, and engagement.
- OH System Management: Oversee the implementation of digital health tools, transitioning from paper-based processes.
- Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure all OH activities adhere to legal, safety, and GDPR requirements.
- Case Management: Provide expert advice and support on complex OH cases when escalated by the team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Health & Safety, and operational teams to align OH services with business needs.
About You:
- Registered Nurse (EN/RGN) with an Occupational Health qualification (minimum Diploma level).
- Extensive experience in occupational health, including managing and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of health surveillance, case management, and OH best practices.
- Project management and leadership skills, with a track record of delivering OH initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly.
