OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a growing Occupational Health provider supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across the Milton Keynes area. This is a predominantly peripatetic role offering a varied caseload across multiple industries including pharmaceutical, manufacturing and engineering. You will provide the full Occupational Health remit while working independently across client sites, supported by an experienced clinical team.

Duties

  • Deliver management referrals, with a maximum of five cases per day
  • Undertake health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, HAVS and skin assessments
  • Carry out new starter health screening and clearance assessments
  • Deliver wellbeing services and health promotion initiatives
  • Administer vaccinations and undertake phlebotomy
  • Produce clear and evidence-based management reports
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
  • Work collaboratively with client HR and Health & Safety teams
  • Support service improvement and high clinical standards across the business

Criteria

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
  • Occupational Health qualification at Certificate, Diploma or Degree level
  • Minimum two years' post-qualification Occupational Health experience within a commercial setting
  • Competent in case management and health surveillance
  • Experience undertaking vaccinations and phlebotomy
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
