OH Medical is looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our client and their in‑house Occupational Health team on a Full‑time or Part‑time permanent basis. You will be working 5 days per week covering sites in Glenfield, Leicester, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, and Magna Park.

As an OH Advisor, your typical duties will include:

  • Conduct health surveillance (e.g., lung function & audiometry tests) based on workplace hazards.
  • Interpret and manage complex health information from employees, managers, and HR.
  • Communicate health‑related details clearly to non‑clinical staff.
  • Provide specialist advice to managers and employees autonomously.
  • Lead health promotion, wellbeing initiatives, and campaigns.
  • Support risk management and reduction related to health.
  • Identify and prevent work‑related ill health.
  • Assess the impact of work on employee health.
  • Advise on health emergencies and first aid management.

Required Skills:

  • Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Holding an Occupational Health diploma or degree is preferable.
  • Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor, including health surveillance and case management.
  • Experience working in a standalone post.
  • Experienced in policy writing and implementation.
