OH Medical is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to join a leading Occupational Health provider at Heathrow Airport, covering a period of maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy, multidisciplinary Occupational Health department, delivering essential health surveillance and screening services to employees in a unique aviation environment.

The successful Occupational Health Technician will be confident, proactive and capable of managing their own workload while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

The Role – Occupational Health Technician

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking health screening and health surveillance

• Completing baseline measurements, including height, weight and blood pressure

• Conducting urinalysis

• Undertaking audiometry and lung function testing

• Completing fit-for-work assessments

• Carrying out drug and alcohol testing

• Accurately recording medical and screening information

• Ensuring equipment is clean, serviceable and fit for purpose

• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team

• Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards

Occupational Health Technician Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Technician or in a similar role

• Experience undertaking health surveillance

• Experience completing fit-for-work assessments

• Competence in baseline measurements and screening procedures

• A proactive and self-motivated approach

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Confidence working independently and as part of a wider clinical team

• Full rights to work in the UK without sponsorship

Hours

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 4.00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Location

This is a fully on-site role based within the Occupational Health department at Terminal 3, Heathrow Airport.
