OH Medical is working in partnership with a leading Occupational Health provider to recruit an Occupational Health Technician based on‑site in Govan, Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team, delivering essential health screening and surveillance services that keep workforces safe, compliant, and thriving.

The Role

As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical support services, including:

  • Conducting health screening procedures: Height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis, audiometry and lung function testing, drug & alcohol testing
  • Recording and maintaining accurate occupational health records
  • Supporting clinical staff by escalating queries outside your scope
  • Following chain of custody procedures for drug and alcohol testing
  • Assisting with PTS medicals and general clinic support tasks
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company protocols and confidentiality standards

What We’re Looking For In An Occupational Health Technician

We’re keen to speak with candidates who are:

  • Experienced as an Occupational Health Technician or in health screening (essential)
  • Confident working independently and managing their own workload
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communicators with a professional and approachable manner
  • IT literate and comfortable using digital health records systems
  • A strong team player who understands clinical boundaries and confidentiality

OHT Working Hours

Part‑time: 22.5 hours per week. Occasional night shifts may be required (with advance notice).

Location

Based on‑site in Govan, Glasgow. No remote working for this position.

Salary & Benefits
