Occupational Health Advisor - Home based - North Essex
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Advisor based in the North Essex region. The role will consist of the full OH remit; conduct face to face & telephone consultations, workplace assessments, immunisations, take bloods and pre placement screening.
Base – Home with travel to clinics as required
Area – Colchester area with travel to clients sites to conduct clinics on a weekly / monthly basis – Sites are Colchester, Chelmsford, Clacton on Sea, Maldon, Southend, Epping, Saffron Walden – The clinics are shared amongst the advisors so generally each advisor does 2 or 3 clinics a week except in flu season when there are more clinics running.
Hours – FT 40 hrs 8.30 – 5.00 Mon – Fri (some travel will be necessary in own time to get to clinics)
Client – NHS
Salary – up to £40k PA depending on experience
It is vital that candidates are up to date with BLS, immunisation, venepuncture & anaphylaxis training and have recent experience of giving the required immunisations and taking blood as these are a requirement of this role. Experience of pre placement screening and complex workplace assessments is also desirable. Previous NHS experience is required with a minimum of 12 months in an OHA position.
