OH Medical is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading provider of Occupational Health services, supporting a major healthcare client across sites in Bodmin & Redruth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an OHA who enjoys a varied, hands-on role. While some case management will be involved, the position will have a strong focus on health surveillance, immunisations and bloods.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering health surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry and HAVS
- Undertaking immunisations and bloods
- Managing a caseload of Occupational Health referrals
- Supporting sickness absence and return-to-work assessments
- Providing professional Occupational Health advice to managers and employees
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records
- Working collaboratively with HR, management and healthcare professionals
What we're looking for:
- You'll need to be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN and have solid experience working within Occupational Health.
- An Occupational Health qualification, such as a Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing or equivalent
- Training and experience in HAVS, audiometry and spirometry
- Strong case management and health surveillance experience
- Good knowledge of Occupational Health legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
- Good IT skills and experience using Occupational Health record systems
