OH Medical is partnering with one of the UK's leading Occupational Health and Wellbeing providers to recruit an Occupational Health Technician in the Midlands. If you're looking for a role that combines travel, handsâon clinical work, and the chance to make a real difference to people's health, this could be the perfect fit. You'll be part of an expanding peripatetic team, travelling the UK in a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to deliver topânotch health surveillance services. Full training, ongoing mentoring, and a supportive, forwardâthinking environment come as standard.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct health surveillance screenings: audiometry, spirometry, blood pressure, height, weight, urinalysis, and vision testing.
- Drive the MMU safely to client sites across the country.
- Keep occupational health records and equipment standards spotâon.
- Support health promotion activities and assist clinical teams with data and information gathering.
- Provide biometric data to help clinical decisionâmaking.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Army Medic, Ambulance Technician, or similar; or a degree in Sports Science or related field.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle travel demands like a pro.
- Professional, proactive, and approachable.
- Full UK driving licence (held 12+ months) with confidence in parking the MMU overnight.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and stay away up to 3 weeks per month (home every weekend).
