Overview
OH Medical is seeking an Occupational Health Technician on behalf of our client in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates from Sports & Exercise Science, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, or similar backgrounds to begin a career in Occupational Health. Full training and development will be provided, along with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities

Deliver health assessments and health surveillance programmes for a range of clients.

Carry out screening tests such as Spirometry, Audiometry, and blood pressure monitoring.

Conduct Safety Critical Medicals (e.g. working at height, FLT).

Deliver health MOT checks and wellbeing advice.

Maintain medical records and screening equipment.

Drive mobile health screening units when required.

Observe workplace environments to understand job demands.

Work occasional evenings/nights to deliver health assessments.
Qualifications
-
Degree in Sports & Exercise Science, Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Therapy, or experience in a transferable/Occupational Health role.

Full manual driving licence with flexibility to travel and stay overnight.

Strong organisational, prioritisation, and IT skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently, manage workload, and build effective relationships.

Flexible and adaptable with a desire to contribute to a growing organisation.

Β£24,000 β Β£30,000 per annum (depending on experience).
