OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider, in a Part-Time (3-4 days) Permanent role. This exciting hybrid opportunity will see you join a multidisciplinary team in Horsham with a mix of both onsite client clinics and working from home opportunities.

The Role: This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to provide a full remit Occupational Health Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting pre-employment health assessments and offering expert guidance on fitness for work.
  • Managing and delivering health surveillance programmes in line with legal standards and industry best practices.
  • Advising on work-related health issues and supporting effective sickness absence management.
  • Designing and implementing health promotion initiatives to enhance employee wellbeing.
  • Collaborating with HR, Health & Safety, and line managers to manage occupational health cases.
  • Ensuring accurate and confidential health records are maintained in compliance with GDPR and professional standards.
  • Contributing to the development of occupational health policies and procedures.
  • Staying current with occupational health practices and relevant legislative updates.

Required Skills: To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:

  • An NMC Registered Nurse qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health.
  • Previously experienced in Occupational Health Nursing, including experience in both Case Management and conducting Health Surveillance.
  • Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational, and administrative abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capable of analysing data and producing detailed reports.
  • Able to demonstrate an awareness of workplace health, safety, equality, and diversity practices.
  • Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality standards.
