WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Take full ownership of production planning and scheduling
- Manage sales orders, works orders, purchase orders and delivery schedules
- Liaise directly with customers to manage orders, priorities and delivery commitments
- Manage purchasing and supplier relationships
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to hit on-time delivery targets
- Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain and customer service
- Support and develop the team around you as the function grows
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Essential:
- Proven experience in planning, purchasing and customer liaison within a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
- A track record of managing delivery schedules and supplier relationships
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams at all levels
Useful, not essential:
- Experience leading or developing a small team
- Exposure to process improvement or systems change projects
