We are growing our commercial team and looking for a Key Account Executive to support and develop relationships with some of our most valued customers. As a Key Account Executive, you will play an important role supporting the Sales Director and wider commercial team to maintain and grow key customer relationships. This position sits within OGM's commercial division and focuses on day-to-day client interaction - answering queries, preparing quotations, tracking performance, and helping ensure that every customer receives the highest standard of service. It is an ideal role for someone with around 2–3 years' experience in a customer-facing or commercially focused environment who wants to build a career in account management. You will spend most of your time working from our Oxfordshire office, with occasional travel to visit customers (typically once a month).
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Location: Yarnton, Oxfordshire (office-based with occasional client visits)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
What You Will Be Doing:
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and clear communication
- Managing day-to-day customer enquiries and supporting ongoing commercial activity
- Preparing quotes, estimates, and reports under the guidance of the Sales Director
- Analysing data, pricing, and performance to support account planning and profitability
- Attending regular online or face-to-face meetings with customers
- Collaborating with internal departments (production, logistics, finance) to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance
- Maintaining CRM and Excel-based reports to track customer and sales performance
- Identifying opportunities for account growth
What You Will Bring:
- Around 2–3 years' experience in a customer-facing or commercial support role (manufacturing or technical industry experience advantageous but not essential)
- Commercially minded with strong numerical and analytical skills with confidence working in Excel and spreadsheets
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and an eagerness to learn about manufacturing and technical processes
- Confidence using CRM or ERP systems
- A positive, professional attitude with a desire to develop and progress
Please note: Due to our location and the need to visit customer sites, a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
