Position Summary: Ogletree Deakins is an international law firm with 54 offices throughout North America and Europe. We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group consists of experienced and dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with corporations and businesses in developing appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees. Our Belfast Centre has an opportunity for a Business Immigration Data Entry Specialist to join their fast-paced business immigration practice. Duties may include, but not be limited to performing a variety of data entry, and digital filing duties to track incoming immigration documents in the Firm’s centralized document management systems and business records; ensuring that immigration documents are easily accessible to clients, legal, and non-legal staff members; and updating cases within our system to ensure paralegals and other immigration staff have timely access to case updates. The role requires full-time, in-office presence for an initial period of three months to ensure successful orientation and integration after which employees are eligible for a hybrid schedule. Essential Functions: CLIENT Strives to provide superior client service at all times, in line with our client pledge. SERVICE DELIVERY Save, file, and perform data entry for a variety of incoming immigration document types. Respond to and complete day-to-day clerical requests to update cases in our system. Enters data into computer using various data entry devices and keeps data organized so that it is easily accessible at any time. May compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered. Prepare professional email communications to update clients on case-specific updates received from government agencies. Requirements: General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) in English and Maths. Proficient in relevant Microsoft applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and in VisaTrax, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Kofax and iManage. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate drafts and other high quality work, under supervision. Able to work independently in a busy, deadline driven environment, under supervision. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, escalating issues as appropriate. Demonstrates initiative and decision-making skills in solving problems and making recommendations, under supervision as appropriate.
