As an Influence Manager you will be the driving force behind our campaigns, playing a central role in delivering our influence marketing proposition across a range of clients and sectors. You will manage your workload autonomously, taking full responsibility for the quality and end‑to‑end execution of multiple influencer programs. You will act as a role model for Ogilvy’s values, build trusted client relationships and communicate effectively across internal teams. You will be accountable for resolving problems on your projects, managing timelines, and proactively communicating your status to senior leadership. A key part of your role will be to support the growth of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and acting as an informal mentor. We are looking for a creative problem‑solver with a passion for the industry and a proven ability to lead projects with confidence and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management – manage the day‑to‑day running of multiple influencer campaigns from start to finish
- Identify and vet talent
- Negotiate contracts and fees
- Implement campaigns across relevant channels
- Oversee delivery and ensure quality
- Report on performance against agreed KPIs
- Maintain and update the influencer database to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Serve as the first point of escalation for your projects, resolving day‑to‑day problems independently and escalating to senior leadership only when appropriate
Strategic Contribution
- Actively contribute to influencer strategy by recommending objectives, targets and creative concepts; confidently present creative solutions, campaign reports to stakeholders
- Identify and nurture client‑appropriate talent opportunities and relationships to deliver the influencer program for clients
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing timely updates, advice and solutions
- Build long‑term client relationships by delivering work that meets agreed objectives, deadlines and quality standards
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate effectively across internal teams (media, PR, social), proactively sharing updates and coordinating timelines to ensure smooth handovers and integrated campaign success
- Effectively prioritise tasks across all projects, proactively communicating your status to senior leadership
Resource Management
- Manage campaign budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and on schedule; communicate workload and capacity to line manager
Team Growth & Mentorship
- Support the growth of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, knowledge sharing and acting as an informal mentor
Skills for Your Growth to Influence Director
- Strategic Development: Move from contributing to strategy to leading the strategic design for small‑to‑mid‑size accounts

What You Will Need
- Passion for influencer marketing with a minimum of two years’ experience, preferably in a fast‑paced agency environment
- Proven experience managing multiple influencer campaigns autonomously, including budget and timeline management
- Platform knowledge and expertise in LinkedIn and YouTube (new platforms such as Substack are a bonus)
- Skilled at cultivating relationships with subject‑matter experts, business leaders and executives
- Curiosity and ability to understand deep technical and industry expertise and craft multi‑stakeholder messaging
- Track record of building strong client relationships and proactively managing expectations
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and appropriately escalations
- Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, facilitation of meetings and cross‑team collaboration
- Commitment to your own growth, keen interest in staying up‑to‑date with influencer marketing trends and sharing knowledge
