ROLE

As a Senior Social Intelligence & Data Strategist, you play a critical role in transforming data into strategic value. You contribute to the design and delivery of digital, social, and search intelligence that informs creative, strategic, and business decision-making for major global brands. You bring a deep understanding of today's digital behaviours and cultural dynamics, and are confident applying a range of intelligence tools to produce high-quality, insight-driven work. This is a high-impact role for a data-savvy analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is eager to push the boundaries of how culture shapes modern advertising.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse social and digital data across a range of tools, including social listening platforms (e.g. Synthesio), competitive analysis tools (e.g. RivalIQ), audience analysis tools (e.g. Profiler, Global Web Index), and trends and search tools (e.g. Semrush, OSL proprietary tools).
  • Design and implement intelligence approaches and frameworks tailored to client needs.
  • Support strategic planning by delivering rich, actionable insights based on what consumers, communities, and creators are saying, sharing, and searching online.
  • Lead the creation of high-quality reports, audits, and presentations that guide campaign strategy and creative thinking.
  • Ensure outputs are consistently rigorous, clearly structured, and insight-led.
  • Translate complex datasets into compelling, accessible narratives for a range of audiences.
  • Represent the data intelligence function in client meetings, workshops, and pitches, translating complexity into clarity.
  • Contribute to new business initiatives, supporting scoping, pitching, and proposal development.
  • Contribute to the development of new, commercially viable data products and methodologies.
  • Support and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of platform developments and internet culture to bring fresh thinking into the team.

PROFILE

  • 6+ years of experience in digital, social, or search data analytics, insights, or strategy roles.
  • Deep understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Strong track record in designing and implementing digital/social intelligence approaches.
  • Advanced proficiency in intelligence and monitoring platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of the social media landscape, internet culture, and platform-specific trends.
  • Proven ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful, strategic insights.
  • Excellent reporting and storytelling skills - visually and verbally.
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation, digital trends, and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in an integrated team environment.

Must-Haves

  • Experience conducting always-on social listening and campaign-based insights generation.
  • Strong cultural trend tracking capabilities for real-time and strategic planning use.
  • Solid understanding of performance metrics across both paid and organic social.
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement custom methodologies.
  • Advanced reporting and data visualization skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with dashboarding, data collection automation, and advanced data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Sprinklr.
  • Knowledge of broader customer and user research methodologies.
