About the Role
We are looking for an exceptionally organised, process-driven People (HR) Administrator to join our busy Talent Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an administrative, hands-on role focused on the day-to-day coordination of our employee lifecycle. If you're someone who takes pride in flawless execution, loves a busy to-do list, and is happiest when processes are running smoothly and data is accurate, this could be a great role for you! This role is perfect for someone with previous experience as an Office Administrator, Recruitment Coordinator, or HR Assistant who loves the "people" side of a business. Because this is a fixed-term contract focusing on operational delivery, it is best suited to someone who enjoys mastering a process and executing it brilliantly, rather than someone looking for immediate career progression or strategic HR development.
As our HR Administrator, you will be a pivotal part of the team. You will handle everything from preparing contract amendments to ensuring our HR system (Workday) is perfectly maintained. You will also be the friendly, organised first point of contact for employee queries and coordinate our onboarding process to give new starters a seamless welcome.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Ownership: Prepare all paperwork for employee changes (probations, promotions, contract amendments, salary increases, and leaver details) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Data Management: Act as the gatekeeper for our employee data, maintaining and updating our HRIS system (Workday) to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate the logistics for new joiner inductions, ensuring all admin, IT requests, and paperwork are completed so their first day is a success.
- First Point of Contact: Manage the shared HR inbox, answering day-to-day queries regarding benefits, policies, and agency life with tact, empathy, and professionalism.
- Payroll & Ops Liaison: Provide accurate monthly change data to the Payroll and Front of House teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Process Efficiency: Work closely with the People Advisors to keep our templates, files, and admin processes organised and up to date.
What You'll Need
- Strong Administrative Experience: Proven experience working in a fast‑paced administrative role (e.g., Office Admin, Recruitment Administration, Operations, or HR Admin).
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: You are someone who spots the missing detail in a contract and takes pride in error‑free data entry.
- Superb Organisation Skills: You love structure, know how to prioritise a busy workload, and are driven by meeting deadlines.
- Great Communication & Interpersonal Skills: You are a natural helper who enjoys interacting with people and can handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
- Systems Confident: Comfortable using databases and systems.
- A Reliable, Hands‑On Attitude: You are happy to get stuck in, work independently to get tasks done, and support a busy, collaborative team.
As a People Administrator, you are pro‑active and approach every task with a can‑do attitude. You take pride in your work and strive for operational excellence. You are organised, display a keen eye for detail and are solutions focused. You maintain an awareness and consideration of the wider business context in everything that you do.
