About the Opportunity: We're seeking a dynamic Midweight Social Content Creator to conceive, script, develop, and produce original, social-first content that grabs attention and sparks conversation. Equally critical, you'll serve as an agile, all-purpose social-first editor for our wider team, rapidly refining and optimizing their content for immediate, impactful deployment across diverse social channels. This isn’t a role for integrated Creatives who dabble in social; it’s social to the core. Integrated experience is welcome, but not required. This unique hybrid role demands both exceptional creative generation and sharp, platform-specific editing prowess. You'll be a key member of our Creative division, collaborating across teams (Creative, Strategy, Production), reporting to the Social Creative Director & the Always-On Creative Lead.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities:

  • Original Content Creation & Production: Develop and execute unique, culturally resonant social-first content strategies for always-on and campaign initiatives. Concept, script, film, and produce captivating social content, meticulously tailored for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and emerging platforms. Articulate creative visions and proposals to clients and stakeholders. Contribute innovative ideas to new business pitches.
  • Rapid Social-First Editing & Optimization: Rapidly edit and optimize team-generated content for social platforms, ensuring quick deployment and maximum impact. Efficiently reformat, enhance, and tailor assets (graphics, captions) to uphold platform best practices and brand consistency. Provide quick-response support for the wider social creative team.
  • On-Camera Presence & Collaboration: Not required, but welcome! Identify opportunities for creator-led storytelling and influencer partnerships.
  • Cultural & Platform Expertise: Maintain expert knowledge of social trends, platform updates, and algorithms. React swiftly with brand-safe messaging to cultural moments. Advise teams on platform changes and content strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-4 years experience in a social media, content creation, or editing role (agency/in-house).
  • Exceptional conceptual thinker with proven ability to generate original, impactful social content.
  • A deep understanding of what drives engagement on social platforms; from crafting the perfect hook to knowing the latest best-practices.
  • Proficient in filming, editing, and publishing social content (video & static) using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and in-app editors.
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly adapt and edit pre-existing content for diverse social platforms with speed and precision.
  • Comfortable presenting creative work and rationale to clients.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Meta platform nuances and best practices.
  • Passion for online culture, trends, and social vernacular.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with influencer/creator content briefing is a plus.
