The Role
You will lead clients through complex commercial and brand challenges, translating ambition into clear, executable strategies. You will partner across the full arc of growth, from consumer insight and market opportunity assessment to brand positioning, portfolio strategy, innovation territories, go‑to‑market execution and brand transformation implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead day‑to‑day project engagement, managing projects and workstreams independently and ensuring timely, high‑quality, visually compelling deliverables.
- Produce high‑quality work directly and elevate the work of others, delivering content that resonates with senior audiences.
- Manage client relationships strategically, commercially and operationally.
- Own and develop new business proposals and pitches, including scoping of project requirements.
- Contribute to all stages of methodology and work, including creative thinking and strategic recommendations.
- Represent Ogilvy Consulting in client meetings and internal presentations, delivering impact.
- Identify, scope and deliver strategic engagements with other Ogilvy and WPP businesses to create added value.
- Stay current with innovations in relevant areas and develop thought leadership.
- Serve as a role model, guiding peers and the wider team.
- Mentor and empower junior team members, fostering continuous learning, psychological safety and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive, diverse working environment that promotes high‑quality output and collaborative culture.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in consulting, strategy or client‑side strategy roles.
- Proven track record of leading complex, high‑impact engagements with measurable commercial outcomes.
- Deep expertise in growth, brand and commercial strategy, with the ability to shift between creative and analytical approaches.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and visual storytelling skills, translating complex problems into compelling narratives.
- Sector experience in FMCG, F&B, logistics, telco, tech and B2B is advantageous.
- Practical fluency with AI tools (LLMs, synthetic audiences, rapid prototyping) and an ability to articulate AI’s strategic value.
- Confident, credible presence in client settings, capable of presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, delivery‑focused and adaptable, thriving in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
- Collaborative and generous with expertise, building and nurturing high‑performing teams.
