In 2023, Ogilvy UK celebrated their 75th anniversary and was the most awarded agency in Europe. The Role: As an Influence Manager, you are the driving force behind our campaigns playing a central role in delivering our influence marketing proposition across a range of clients and sectors. You will manage your workload autonomously, taking full responsibility for the quality and end‑to‑end execution of multiple influencer programs. In this role, you will act as a role model for Ogilvy's values, building trusted client relationships and communicating effectively across internal teams. You will be accountable for resolving problems on your projects, managing timelines, and proactively communicating your status to senior leadership. A key part of your role will be to support the growth of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and acting as an informal mentor. We are looking for a creative problem‑solver with a passion for the industry and a proven ability to lead projects with confidence and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Manage the day‑to‑day running of multiple influencer campaigns from start to finish, including identifying and vetting talent, negotiating contracts and fees, implementing campaigns across relevant channels, overseeing delivery and ensuring quality, and reporting on performance against agreed KPIs. Maintain and update the influencer database to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Strategic Contribution: Actively contribute to influencer strategy by recommending objectives, targets, and creative concepts. Confidently present creative solutions and campaign reports to internal and external stakeholders. Identify and nurture client‑appropriate talent opportunities and relationships to help deliver the influencer program for clients.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for your clients, managing expectations, providing timely updates, as well as advice and solutions. Build long‑term client relationships by delivering work that meets agreed objectives and deadlines, and taking responsibility for the quality of all client outputs in your remit. Communicate effectively across internal teams (media, PR, social), proactively sharing updates and coordinating timelines to ensure smooth handovers and integrated campaign success.
  • Resource Management: Manage campaign budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and on schedule. Proactively communicate about your workload and capacity to your line manager. Support the growth of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and acting as an informal mentor.

Skills for Your Growth to Influence Director:

  • Strategic Development: Move from contributing to strategy to leading the strategic design for small‑to‑mid‑size accounts, defining industry‑leading approaches.
  • Commercial Acumen: Develop a strong understanding of account profitability, identify opportunities for organic growth within your clients, and contribute to new business pitches.
  • Senior Client Counsel: Evolve from a trusted day‑to‑day contact into a strategic advisor for mid‑level clients, providing proactive counsel on industry trends and challenges.
  • Team Leadership: Build on your informal mentoring to develop formal line management skills, becoming a role model who can inspire and lead a team.

What You Will Need:

  • A passion for influencer marketing with a minimum of two years' experience in a fast‑paced agency environment.
  • Proven experience in autonomously managing multiple influencer campaigns from start to finish, including budget and timeline management.
  • A track record of building strong client relationships and proactively managing their expectations.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and escalate appropriately.
  • Experience in guiding or mentoring junior team members is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A commitment to your own growth, with a keen interest in keeping up‑to‑date with influencer marketing trends and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

How we help you Thrive:

  • 25 days annual leave + 1 Volunteer Day
  • Enhanced Maternity, Adoption and Shared Parental Leave
  • Flexible Working Model with core working hours: 10am – 4pm
  • Wellbeing and Health: Up to ÂŁ25.00 per month towards physical or online exercise class membership, Unmind membership, LifeWorks tool and annual eye tests.
  • Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Life Assurance
