The Role

We’re looking for a visionary Account Director to create culturally resonant, high-impact consumer PR campaigns that don’t just get noticed, they become part of the zeitgeist. You’ll be the driving force behind the client relationship, leading day-to-day interactions and spearheading innovative strategies that generate explosive buzz and deliver measurable success. Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire & Lead: Mentor a team to develop and execute breakthrough, "earned first" PR & Influence campaigns.
  • Client Partnership: Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, understanding their business and anticipating their needs.
  • Creative Strategy: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling narratives and assets that resonate with target audiences.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, leveraging data and analytics to optimize results and demonstrate ROI.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new opportunities and approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • New Business: Support new business efforts, participating in pitches and developing compelling proposals.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to protect client reputation.
  • Inclusivity: Champion inclusiveness, diversity, and equity in all aspects of work.
  • Media Relations: Maintain strong media contacts across a range of national, regional & consumer lifestyle titles.
  • Integration: Cross-channel collaboration with Influence & Organic social specialists, and cross-agency collaboration with paid media & experiential partners.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in consumer PR and influence, with a proven track record of driving successful campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior and ability to develop creative strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to think "earned first" and create campaigns that generate organic buzz.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience in crisis management.
  • Champion inclusiveness, diversity, and equity in all aspects of work.
